
Dr. Frank is currently the Founder and Director of the Grow Clinic at Boston Medical Center, and Principal Investigator of C-SNAP (Children’s Sentinel Nutrition Assessment Program). C-SNAP’s goal is to monitor the impact of policy changes on nutrition, growth and development of low-income children, ages 0-3 years. She also conducts other research funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Nationally recognized as an expert in the field of growth and nutrition, Dr. Frank has written numerous scientific articles and papers and has given testimonies to United States and Massachusetts House and Senate on the growing problem of hunger in the United States and its effect on children. She has also served on numerous committees and advisory boards and has received many awards recognizing her dedication and advocacy for children in need, including most recently the Congressional Victory Against Hunger award. Dr. Frank has been a Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine since 1981 and received her M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
